WELCOME TO MY WORLD
WHO AM I?
Overtime I have went by different alias' and gained many nicknames. The name Bailey, being the name I was born with, is what friends and family call me, but 'Law' is what I'm known to by most others. I picked up the alias 'Law' years ago, back in the competitive scene, when I used to play semi-pro Call of Duty. I chose the alias 'Law' for 2 reasons: one - It meant that I could keep my identity to myself (before I wanted to release my identity), and two - the definition of 'Law' relates to being in control and strong / powerful, which is exactly what I wanted to portray, when competing, to intimate opponents.
Definition of 'Law'
- A rule of conduct or procedure established by custom, agreement, or authority.
- The body of rules and principles governing the affairs of a community and enforced by a political authority; a legal system: international law.
- The condition of social order and justice created by adherence to such a system: a breakdown of law and civilised behaviour.
MY STORY
Where do I possible begin my story? Well as a young lad I took a lot of my inspiration from my Uncle Michael, who I have always been very close to from a very young age to present. Michael is one of the most amazing artists I've honestly ever seen and I've always dreamed of being as good as he is. He has always supported me in many ways. I have learned so much from him and I have so much to be grateful for, thanks to him. He is the man who first got me into computers and technology as a whole. I remember as a young lad when I used to come home and Michael would show me how to use his PC and we began playing a very old game called Balder's Gate : which has became one of my all time favourite games because of the sentimental memories that game holds. I also have memories of me and him building my very first PC together - at the time it was quite a powerful machine and was absolutely amazing to have (with being such a young age), however, compared to my current PC it has very low specs. I do still own my very first PC though, because it contains lots of sentimental value for me.
Growing up I gained a passion for art and technology which eventually expanded to be much more. My passion for art drove my passion for design, whereas my passion for technology powered my passion for gaming. I love everything to do with design and technology and that is why doing this as work is the ideal because it combines my passions and also allows me to provide people with high quality products for respectable prices.
As I started to get older I started to play console games instead of PC games as I preferred the online multiplayer side of console gaming, and still do today. Like many people from my generation, the first console I owned was the Sony Playstation One, which I thoroughly enjoyed playing as a child. Moving on from the Playstation One I got a Playstation Two then Three, neither of which I would rate as highly as the Xbox 360 I moved onto next.
PRESENT DAY
Presently I am working on advancing my skills in all area of design. Everyday I strive for self improvement in every aspect of my life. "Life's too short, make the most of it!". I maintain a very healthy life style and always make sure to workout and eat a good diet. Along with my fitness, I also make sure to work hard, and as a result I have always achieved high grades all the way through school, leading to me being accepted to Sunderland College to study Game Design. When I'm not hard at work either in the gym, at school, or working for clients, I make sure to spend my spare time with my friends and my amazing girlfriend, Charlotte. I have a very happy life and I always choose to be optimistic, as in my opinion that is the way forward.
HOW I DRESS
Generally I dress in 'Hype Beast' style clothing in my day to day life. However I do sometimes have a little bit of a variety in my clothing. I basically just wear what I think looks good, and I don't class myself as any particular style: my favourite style just happens to be 'Hype'.
